Most of the people who need this website are over sixty-five. It is built accordingly.

What we have done
This site is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. Practically, that means larger body text than a typical website, colour contrast checked against the standard rather than guessed at, and every function reachable with a keyboard alone.
Specific choices
Some decisions were made specifically for older readers and for anyone using magnification.
- Body text at 18px, and no sentence anywhere on the site below 16px (short uppercase labels go smaller)
- Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels, and visible keyboard focus throughout
- A single light theme, because light-on-dark is harder to read as eyesight changes
